Country partner
Invests in and develops local production, market access, customers and required permits.
TREON is developing country master franchise partnerships for the first MEON application. Qualified partners bring local investment, production capability and customer access; TREON coordinates the commercial system with MeSentia’s technology framework.
The proposed Country Master Franchise agreement would be made with TREON Ventures in Singapore after incorporation and the necessary rights and contracts are in place. Each territory is governed by its own agreement, milestones and technical approval.
Invests in and develops local production, market access, customers and required permits.
Structures territory rights, franchise standards, commercial rollout and partner coordination.
Owns the MEON technology and IP and oversees the technical framework and approved equipment.
The planned framework covers a production licence, access to the Swiss connected tracking and pooling software platform, installation and service, and technical warranty terms from MeSentia as specified in definitive agreements. In countries with a TREON franchise agreement, platform access is included for the country partner. TREON pays the MeSentia platform directly: the planned fee is USD 0.10 per pallet produced. Final billing is governed by the agreements. Equipment would be supplied to partners on TREON’s behalf under MeSentia’s Swiss technical supervision. Local OEM manufacture may be possible in individual countries, subject to approval and quality controls.
Planning estimate for one complete production system targeting about 200,000 pallets per year. Final price, capacity, site work, utilities, feedstock preparation and operating economics require engineering, quotations and validation; this is not a fixed offer.
Approx. USD 8.50 per pallet for ongoing production and site operations in Thailand, as a planning assumption pending validation.
Target selling price: USD 11–13 per pallet for orders of at least 100 pallets.
Target selling price: USD 13–15 per pallet for smaller orders.
These price and cost assumptions have not yet been validated in production with the MEON Alpha prototype. The scope of unit costs, packaging, transport, taxes and other costs must be defined before a binding offer. The platform fee borne by TREON is not an additional platform charge to the country partner. The initial franchise fee and other ongoing franchise terms have not yet been determined; platform access is included for partners with a TREON franchise agreement. For sales through a reseller, a sales commission of 6–8% of the sales revenue from the relevant pallets is envisaged. The producer pays this commission to the reseller; definitive terms are subject to contract.
Status as reported by TREON in September 2026. Plans and commitments remain subject to contracts, funding and technical validation.
Royce Universal Co., Ltd. has signed an LOI and is a prospective production partner. The Swiss built MEON Alpha prototype, engineered by Gimelli under MeSentia’s platform, is planned for Royce in Thailand, with installation at Royce targeted for March/April 2027, followed by approximately two months of testing in Thailand. Production is targeted to begin in the third quarter of 2027, subject to successful validation. Prototype down payment is planned after TREON’s approval and Singapore incorporation. The expansion plan envisages five machines in Thailand in the next two years. At an assumed capacity of about 200,000 pallets per machine and year, this would represent a nominal target of around one million pallets annually after full rollout, subject to testing, financing, site readiness and demand.
A prospective franchise partner has committed to develop TREON Vietnam as a new local company to receive a franchise agreement, subject to formation and definitive documents. The development target is three production locations with five machines in the next two years, subject to site approvals, financing, contracts and technical validation. At a planning capacity of about 200,000 pallets per machine and year, this corresponds to a nominal target of around one million pallets annually in Vietnam after the full rollout; actual output has not yet been validated. Plastic feedstock pellets would be prepared centrally at an existing plastic waste site in Ho Chi Minh City and supplied to producers.
A prospective country partner has been identified. Discussions are ongoing, with a definitive decision targeted for November 2026; no final franchise agreement is represented as signed.
Territory conversations are under way in Taiwan, Myanmar and Malaysia. These are development opportunities, not awarded franchises.
Start of the technical test phase in Switzerland, subject to readiness.
Planned installation of the MEON Alpha prototype at Royce Universal in Thailand.
Approximately two months of testing in Thailand. First country franchise agreements are targeted no earlier than June 2027, subject to successful completion of the required tests and contractual prerequisites.
Planned start of production in Thailand, subject to successful validation and operational readiness.
Programme and figures are planning assumptions as of September 2026. Technology performance, capacity, equipment delivery, territorial rights, software access, service and warranties depend on testing and executed agreements.
The country partner plans and funds local production, including the site and required permits. Scope and funding are agreed for each country.
MeSentia owns the MEON technology and IP and oversees the technical framework. Equipment is planned to be supplied on TREON’s behalf under MeSentia’s technical supervision.
Sourcing and preparation depend on the country. In Vietnam, central pellet preparation in Ho Chi Minh City is planned, subject to technical approval.
Platform access is included in countries with a TREON franchise agreement. TREON bears the planned USD 0.10 fee per pallet produced. For sales through resellers, the producer pays the envisaged 6–8% commission on those sales.
First country franchise agreements are targeted no earlier than June 2027, following successful testing and once incorporation, rights and other contractual prerequisites are in place.
The initial fee and other ongoing terms have not yet been set. A binding offer follows country qualification and definitive agreements.
Tell us the territory, your production experience, available site, planned investment and contact details. TREON will assess the fit and next steps.
